Focused Psychology provides vocational assessment and return to work services to insurers, rehabilitation providers, employers and legal practitioners. Services are delivered across South Australia and nationally by telehealth.
Carrie Easton is a registered psychologist with a Master of Psychology (Organisational and Human Factors), Comcare accredited and DVA registered, working across DVA, Comcare and workers compensation jurisdictions.

Vocational assessment, including standardised cognitive, aptitude, personality and career profile assessment. As a registered psychologist, Focused Psychology can deliver assessment items restricted to psychologists under scheme rules.
Suitable employment and employability assessment — transferable skills analysis and identification of suitable employment options.
Labour market research, as a standalone component or integrated into another provider’s report.
Vocational counselling and career transition support.
Section 18 suitable employment assistance under the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA).
Approach
Assessments are built around a person’s actual qualifications and work history rather than sector-adjacent job titles, and every proposed role is tested against what they can demonstrably do. Labour market research is verified against current advertised vacancies, not cached data. Capacity and return to work timing remain with the treating doctor.
Referrals
Referrals are accepted from rehabilitation providers, insurers, self-insured employers, claims agents and legal practitioners.
